Le Laurier Guest House & Restaurant is situated on Praslin, the second largest island of the Seychelles islands, approximatively thirty kilometres from the main island, Mahe

This little hotel and its well-known restaurant is located on the north coast of the island, only a short walk to the magnificent Côte d' or beach.

It is ideally located to visit the world renowned Vallée de Mai, a "Unesco World Heritage" site and to Anse Lazio, said to be the most beautiful beach on the planet.

This charming little hotel consists of four superb rooms with en-suite bathrooms equipped with hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities.

Each room has a large veranda opening to the garden.
One of the rooms is ideal for family as there is one large double bed and two beds for children.

There is also a babysitting service free of charge as well as beach towels.

There are 3 boats available for big game fishing and other excursions

• a 33 foot Gulf Craft with 2x200 horse power engines with a well appointed cabin,
• for individual excursions: a 10 foot super Sea Dog,
• there is also a little taxi boat for short trips.

Edwin the Captain can propose you a wide range of excursions: the most popular being a full day excursion with barbecue and snorkelling, swimming to the following islands:

• the islands of Cousin, Curieuse and St Pierre: *100 € /person
• the Sisters islands and Coco: *90 € /person

It is also possible to have a half day excursion on:

• Curieuse island and St Pierre: *30 € /person

Seychelles is well known for big game fishing, where you can catch tunas, marlins, barracudas... Big game fishing is between *350 to 400 € for a half day and about *600 € for full day, lunch included.

The Restaurant
The family atmosphere together with the delicious and wide ranging buffet make Les Lauriers restaurant one of the most sought after restaurant on the island. The decor of takamaka pillars and the coco de mer palms ceiling and a wide variety of the sea shells create a warm and welcome atmosphere.
On the buffet, there is a large selection of salads and curries. You can then move to the barbecue and choose between fresh fish caught by Edwin, chicken, pork chops among others - Creole cuisine as its best.
Before dinner, you can sip one among a wide range of our exotic cocktails together with banana or cassava crisps. On Sunday, you can dance and sing along to the rhythm of Sega or Reggae, performed by a local group of musicians.

The restaurant is open every night from 07.00 to 10.30 pm, except Wednesday
