east coast of Mauritius, just a few hundred yards from
the village itself, with a picture-postcard view out
over the lagoon towards Ile aux Cerfs and Montagne du

The 58 main rooms are decorated in local style, and
comfortably arranged with large beds. Each room has
a balcony or terrace, looking out directly over the
beach and the lagoon.
There are also 2 larger family rooms, set back slightly
for added privacy but still close to the beach. Their
terraces overlook the garden and its lush, tropical
plants.

Le Tropical has a freshwater swimming pool, suitable
for adults and youngsters, behind the restaurant and
next to the bar, with sunloungers for relaxing. Sunloungers
are also laid out on the grass under the coconut palms
on the beach.
Watersports
Free of charge: windsurfing, pedal boats, sailing
dinghies, kayaks, glass-bottom boat trips and snorkelling.
For a fee: speedboat rides and small game fishing.
There are also additional facilities available next
to the hotel (for a fee):
Deep-sea fishing, diving and water-skiing at Ile aux
Cerfs.
Land-based activities
Free of charge: petanque, volleyball, table tennis
and darts.

and Bar
Le Cocotier

9.30p.m)
The restaurant is light and airy, looking out directly
onto the lagoon on one side and onto the swimming pool
from the other. Guests enjoy a wide choice of cuisine,
including European, Chinese, Indian and Mauritian specialities.
La Canne à Sucre
(11a.m. to 11.30p.m.)
The bar runs alongside the swimming pool and its comfortable
armchairs make it the ideal place to sip a selection
of exotic cocktails, the bar's speciality.
All-inclusive package
The package has everything needed for an enjoyable holiday,
but other options are also available for a supplement.

Buffet served daily in the restaurant.
Lunch
A variety of buffets, set menus and a choice of French
baguettes. Picnic hampers are provided for guests going

Dinner
The restaurant hosts themed evenings, alternating between
a full buffet and a three-course table d'hôte. A five-course
dinner is served once a week.
Tea and coffee
Unlimited tea and coffee are available throughout the day,
either at the bar or at the restaurant.
Other beverages
Guests can enjoy locally-bottled rum, gin, vodka, whisky
and brandy at the bar, as well as local beers, cocktails,
fruit juices, minerals and soft drinks, from 11 a.m. each
day. A selection of house wines is also offered at meal
times.
Entertainment
A local band entertains guests every evening and, once a
week, there is a special Sega show, when visitors can discover
the music and rhythms traditional to Mauritius in a flamboyant
whirl of sound and colour
