The Indian Resort Hotel in Mauritius, a Hotel complex lies on an 11 hectare-property.

Indian Resort is located on the South West coast of Mauritius island, within hour drive from the capital Port Louis and within 1 hour from the international airport, at the foot of the "Rocher du Morne" and nested in the heart of a huge park of 11 hectares.

Indian Resort Mauritius: Let you go by...dream!
All 265 rooms face the lagoon. Three coherent configurations with totally different atmospheres. The interior decoration of the rooms blends perfectly with the tropical gardens around.

160 Superior rooms Sea view (42 sqm)
They all have a balcony or a terrace. 122 rooms have 2 m x 2m kingsize beds whilst 38 rooms have 2 twin beds (90 cm x 190 cm). 58 rooms (13 with twin beds) are on the ground floor and there are another 58 rooms (13 of which have twin beds) on the first floor. 44 rooms (14 of which have twin beds) are situated on the second floor. With option of adding 1 bed.

80 Privilege rooms (42 sqm)
They all have a balcony or terrace. 70 are equipped with 2 x 2 m king-size beds. 10 have 2 twin beds, 90 cm x 190 cm. 28 (5 of which have twin beds) are on the ground floor whilst 28 (5 of which have twin beds) are on the first floor. 24 rooms are situated on the second floor. With option of adding 1 bed.

22 Junior suites (48sqm)
These rooms consist of two rooms connected by a door. 8 of them are on the first floor and have a terrace, 8 rooms are on the first floor and the remaining 6 are on the second floor. The size of the parent's bed is 2 m x 2m. The kids' room which can accommodate 2 persons,consists of two 90 cm x 190 cm beds.

Ideal for families Junior Suite comprises 2 rooms and can accommodate 2 adults and 3 children up to 17 years old.

3 Suites (100sqm)
The Suites are situated on the second floor and have a big balcony. Each suite has a style of its own, « Indienne », « Moderne », « Ludique». They have a sitting room, dining room, sleeping area, a bathroom, separate toilets and a dressing room.

The Balneotherapy Centre
« The Spa » is an immense 2800 m2 space dedicated to wellbeing.
Its open air pool constitutes a unique attraction. A professional team dispenses a variety of personalised treatments inspired by the Chinese and Indian medicine.

The Hydrotherapy pool
This 380 m2 open air pool houses hydrotherapy sessions. The movement from one boiling bath, springs, taps, whirl-pool, etc. to another is free. Each equipment massages a distinct zone of the body. An operating system based on work against the current fosters muscular exercise whilst the air mattress ensures total relaxation. Inside the centre, private cabins offer 18 different types of massage aiming at ensuring tranquillity and complete rest. The practitioners even walk bare foot in order not to disturb the guests. Whilst waiting in comfortable sofa beds for your individual treatment, you can let yourself be carried away by the delicate aromatic flavours of the scented candles and the music which accompany the session. Serenity is at your finger tips every day
from 09h00 to 20h00. Access is authorised as from 18 years of age.

The concept and the method " Chromaterapy "
The " chromaterapy " takes its principles from the energetic Chinese medicine that considers the body under the physical and energetic form. It rests on the law of the Yin and Yang and the five elements of the Chinese tradition, i.e. Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water and associates to each element a colour: green, red,
yellow, blue, and violet. Combining the ancestral know-how and the latest technologies, " The Spa " proposes a range of exclusive products "phytobiodermie " (literally translated " the action of the plants on the skin ") ; a
range of treatment for the face, the hair and the body. These products are made in Swiss with natural ingredients of top quality: clay, algae, planktons,vegetables, oligo-elements and essential oils.
Thanks to the latest technological equipment, the different treatments are preceded by a diagnosis test which establishes the reflex zones of the face and body, the morphology and energetic biorhythm of each individual. Upon the specific needs of each individual thus determined, the treatment will be based on one of the five energetic elements of the Chinese tradition. All our treatments are hence perfectly personalised.

Fitness Centre
The fitness centre is equipped with the latest apparatus. It is opened every day from 6h00 to 21h00. However, kids less than 12 years of age must be accompanied by one of their parents. A professional attendant is on call and advises guests every day from 15h30 to 21h00 (except Sundays).

The Entertainment
Numerous entertainments are organized within or outside the hotel: painting, drawing, board games, team games, excursions in the vicinity of the hotel, rest rooms, and water games. Theme activities (nature, sea and wind) are also proposed.

The sport facilities
3 pools (the "Kids Club "pool exclusive to kids included), 1 hydrotherapy pool exclusive to guests who are treated at "Dolphin Spa", 3 flood lit tennis courts, 1 polyvalent tennis court, 1fitness room, 1 volley ball court, 1 beach-volley court, 1 badminton court and bowls area.

«Le Club Mistral»: Kite Surf
The "Club Mistral International "is a specialized kite surf school, blend of surf and windsurf.
Owing to its exceptional location (opposite the One Eye spot, the best site in the island for sliding and gliding sports), Indian Resort has been earmarked by this school for its base in Mauritius. As such, the hotel offers professional and top notch equipment to high calibre sportsmen. The beginners can be trained by professionals who have a very good understanding of the sea. The rental of equipment and the training are billed separately.

The Miniclub
«Akuna-Matata » The "Kids club "is exclusive to children aged 3 to 12 and has an African village set up. This 2500 square meter play area consists of a pool (with continuous supervision) and cabins with theme games. Events are organized by age group: 3-5 years, 6-8 years, and 9-12 years. The club is opened from 9h00 to 21h00 and is free.

The hotel has two shops
« La Boutique » open every day from 9h00 to 20h00. They propose souvenirs, postal cards, stamps, T-Shirts, beach wear, local artefacts, and school products.

The Restaurants

Each of the five hotel restaurants offers a different style of cuisine and a specific ambience. On half board basis and upon reservation, all restaurants suggest a set menu for dinner or a credit for a la carte. Prior reservation is required at latest breakfast time the same day.

« La Pointe du Morne »
This main restaurant will seduce you with its buffets. International buffet for breakfast. Buffet every evening for dinner. It is opened every day from 7h00 to 10h30 and from 19h00 to 22h00. Dress code: casual smart.

« Le Bio »
At the heart of the « The Spa », this restaurant faces the ocean and proposes a light cuisine in view of extending the benefits of the spa treatments. The menu was created by the specialists of the « The Spa». « Le Bio » is opened every day (except Sundays) from 12h30 to 15h00. Prior booking is advised.

« La Plage »
Perfect to eat near the white sand beach in front of the lagoon and nautical activities. Open every day between 12h30 to 15h00, this restaurant proposes a grilled menu and show cooking. During the afternoon you can choice in the snack menu and eat around the swimming pool until 17h00. It is highly advisable to make prior bookings.

« L'Haseena »
Amidst fragrances of delicate spices and incense, this gastronomic restaurant proposes the various flavors of northern India. The luxurious décor and the authentic cuisine constitute a voyage. L'Haseena is opened every evening (except Fridays) from 19h30 to 22h00. It is highly advisable to make prior bookings. Dress code: Smart casual.

« Eden »
Set in a romantic décor, Eden is the ideal place for a gastronomic dinner :the refined ambience is highlighted by the silver reflections of the moon on the lagoon. The menu is a subtle blend of European and Asian influences of the island. The restaurant is opened every evening (except Sunday) from 19h30 and 22h00. It is recommended to make prior reservations. Dress code : Smart casual.

The Bars
Whatever the time, whatever the feeling, one of the three hotel bars is always open for a relaxed moment.

« Darukhanna »
This principal bar with its thatched roof offers a wide variety of typical Mauritian cocktails. Open every day from 09h00 to 23h30. During lunch, sandwiches and salads are served from
12h30 to 17h00.

« Victoria Bar »
A traditional English pub with billiard tables*, video and electronic games* and darts. Victoria Bar is opened every evening from 10h00 to 23h30. A wide variety of whiskeys and beers are proposed amidst a serene ambience.
Bar turns into a discotheque as from 23h00 to 02h00 in the morning open on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Kite Bar
Next to the nautical centre, this bar is the meeting point of surfers and windsurfers. Facing the ocean, Kite Bar offers light drinks, fresh fruit juices and cocktails from 10h00 to 18h30.
During lunch, sandwiches and salads are served from 12h30 to 17h00.

The "beach boys"
are at your service on the beach from 10h00 to 17h00 to serve drinks and as from 12h30 to 15h00 for light lunches.
