Discover the Greens in Reunion Island.

The destination offers two 18-holes Golf parcourse: ‘Golf du BASSIN BLEU’, which is situated on the west part of the island, more precisely in Saint Gilles. The second one, ‘GOLF CLUB DE BOURBON’ is situated near the beach in the south at tang-salé.

 With 18 holes (9 hole with sea view and 9 holes in a forest of 25 hectares of eucalyptus), ‘Golf du Bassin Bleu’ offers everyone a place of well-being, set in a grandiose setting.

Spectacular view of the turquoise ocean horizon and a canyon departure requires a drive of at least 180 m from the Back Tees. A magnificent 18 holes long and varied which overlooks a hilly landscape surrounded with casuarinas and eucalyptus.

Located on the west coast, the sunniest part of the island, between Etang Salé and St Louis, the ‘Golf Club de Bourbon’ is the first course built on the island. This course is a classical inland French course among casuarinas and eucalyptus.

‘Golf Club de Bourbon’ has a parcourse of 6476 metres; you will find very quickly the sporting aspect of the site with a specific sandy based topology. Apart from this specificity, the path is different with its difficulties over the last three holes.

Located on the south-west coast of the island, between the Etang-Salé-les-Bains and Saint-Louis, ‘Golf Club de Bourbon’ is the oldest golf complex of Reunion Island. A parcourse of 75 hectares and 6,276 metres.

A clubhouse, the ‘Play Off’, offers the opportunity to relax and have lunch in the shade of bougainvillea. A pool and three tennis court are also available to all clients.

A nine-hole course was therefore constructed in order to preserve a sizeable flora. Then, the National Forestry Board gave its approval for an extension project in 1969. The 18-holes have then been created in 1991. The Club also has a compact parcourse available for beginners and a practice area.

The first 9-holes have a crescendo in difficulty and the last thr ee holes are concentrated. The parcourse does not include any water features during the game. Its fairways (well maintained alleys) are rarely flat and rather narrow, the PAR (number of strokes for a hole normally provided) are sometimes very long and 'rough' (tall grass) and due to black sand, which does not provide to obtain a perfect strike.

With a length that meets international standards, the ‘Golf Club de Bourbon’ can host professional competitions and proud to hold monthly competitions for all levels and all ages. Each year is held the ‘Trophée des Nations’ at Etang-Salé.
