The Belle Mare Plage hotel consists of 235 rooms of different categories which has been designed to suit the needs of our distinguished guests.

Prestige Rooms
(45 sq. m) Distributed in 3 levels (Ground Floor, First Floor and Second Floor), the 92 sea facing prestige rooms are located on the south wing of the resort. Each room has access to a private balcony and some directly overlook the swimming pool. Its area provides enough comfortable space to accommodate a maximum of 3 persons. Interconnecting prestige rooms are available for families.

Junior Suites
(68 sq. m). The 137 newly built sea facing Junior Suites are nestled in the north wing of the Resort. Its bedroom with its exclusive decor provides a unique accommodation experience. A private and furnished balcony or terrace will tend to retain you in your suite. Ground floor and first floor inter leading Junior Suites are available as well as 2 Junior Suites that cater for disabled guests.

Deluxe Suites
(96 sq. m). 6 ocean view Deluxe Suites are all located in the south wing. Every Deluxe Suite has a separate living room and has an optional feature of being connected to a Prestige room, which is suitable for families.

All rooms and suites are comfortably furnished in a modern wood & marble style, featuring a terrace / balcony, bathroom, a sitting area, air conditioning, comprising separate shower/bath/wc, double vanities, hair-dryer, TV with VCD, Satellite TV channels, music channels, play-station II (for rental), internet access, minibar, individual safe, room service and a sitting area.  GOLFS : A Golfer's Paradise
(Guests of Belle Mare Plage can play at both 18-holes championship golf courses: The Legend and The Links where it is compulsory to hire a golf buggy)

The two hotels Constance championship golf courses ( The Legend & The Links) are of international standard. Each 18 holes is a real challenge for professional and amateurs alike, recognised by the PGA and various other federations, these courses were conceived to annually host a number of international competitions including the Mauritius Open.

The Legend
'The Legend', the first of its kind in Mauritius, designed by South African champion, Hugh Baiocchi, is the crowning achievement of the Resort, located along one of the most superb beaches on the island. Each of the 18 holes has distinctive characteristics. Superb fairways are laid in the heart of an indigenous forest, culminating in the brand new greens, built to USGA specifications.

In our constant effort to provide the perfect golfing location, all 18 greens have been rebuilt using Tif Dwarf grasses to ensure a perfect surface. Time has also been taken to enhance the natural beauty of a site originally used to breeding deer. Teeing off from the 17th hole (par 3) is a feast for the eyes and a test for the nerves.

The Links
The second Belle Mare Plage The Resort Championship Golf Course of the Belle Mare Plage The Resort, designed by Rodney Wright & Peter Alliss opened in November 2002. This 18-hole Links course was created as a result of the success and demand encountered by Hotels Constance first course, "The Legend". Sitting beneath the club house which faces the setting sun, the course measures 5,942 m and has a par of 71. Equipped with a practice fairway, this 18-hole course is set in a location which seems to have been naturally created for the purpose.

Mini-club
The Kakoo Club open from 09 00 hrs to 21 00 hrs of 4 to 12 years. It comprises of a game room, a playground and a private pool. Indoor and outdoor activities are organized daily under supervision.

Lunch at La Kaze and dinner in buffet style available for children. Babysitting facilities are available on request (payable). Special evening for teenagers.

The Citronelle
The main restaurant (450 seats) " La Citronelle" is famous for its varied cuisine. A real food court, this restaurant serves tropical and italian buffets, grills, and seafood with a hint of Asian flavours and aromas. "La Citronelle" serves you your breakfast, and dinner in a relaxed atmosphere and a small set of tables in separated dining area with privacy. Kids dinner is available earlier.

The Spiaggia
La Spiaggia restaurant is situated in a private corner near the Villas. It offers a Mediterranean cuisine. Chef Stephan Baussaurd invites you to experience its finest cuisine with a blend of italian and fresh island products.

Blue Penny Café
Blue Penny Café is Belle Mare Plage The Resort's, gastronomic restaurant under the direction of Chef Michael Scioli. The chef has brought to Blue Penny Café, a wealth of international experience and unique talent.

Deer Hunter
The (80 seats) restaurant is located at the golf clubhouse. It is open for breakfast, lunch and a la carte dinner. Our chef Mike Payenmootoo offers exclusive European and Thai cuisine combined with a Mauritian flavour, in a fine dining ambiance. A half-board menu is also available every day for dinner (reservations required due to limited capacity). Continental breakfast buffet is also available for early golfers.

The Swing
Situated at the Links Golf Club, the restaurant overlooks the magnificent golfcourse. Opened for lunch only it offers a selection of sandwiches and salads.

Indigo Beach
Beachside restaurant (80 seats), open only for lunch and for special evenings such as lobster. The restaurant is perfectly situated at the water's edge, offering a splendid view of the lagoon. Ordering your food and drinks without leaving your sun bed is possible.

La Kaze
Beach restaurant, situated near the Prestige rooms, serves a variety of snacks, salads, sandwiches, grilled dishes, pizzas and light meals.

Afternoon tea and pancakes are available.

The Supplement for Christmas and New Year's gala diner (24 & 31 December 2009) is compulsory and can be paid directly at hotel upon arrival.
