Facing the Indian Ocean, Le Boucan Canot Hotel Reunion Island stands over a white-sand cove, on a volcanic basalt spur.

Full of character, the hotel has been fitted out in Creole style, as can be seen from the very entrance, in the omnipresent mahogany wood and Creole colonnades.

The hotel consists of spacious rooms and suites, all with individual air conditioning and a roomy balcony, where you can relax overlooking the sea. Rooms are tastefully decorated in three different local styles - “Bois sous tôle” (Wood Cabin), “Creole” or “Marine”, which harmoniously combine wood, fabrics and light to create a pleasant, gentle atmosphere of tranquillity and space. The bathrooms are equipped with two wash basins, bath tub and separate shower.

  • 36 Standard rooms with sea view (28 m²).
  • 2 Standard rooms with patio (28 m²).
  • 2 rooms available for disabled persons.

Suites:

  • 4 Junior Suite sea view (45 m²).

Room amenities:

  • An elevator serves the 1st and 2nd floor of our establishment.
  • All the rooms have a balcony with sea view except the rooms for disable persons or the rooms of transit.
  • A colour television with remote control, equipped with satellite channels, air-conditioning with electronic control, a safe and a mini-bar.
  • The roomy bathrooms are all equipped with showers and bathtubs as well as separate toilets, a hair-dryer and an electronic socket for a shaver.

You may use the Hotel’s pool and solarium at a whim. Water temperature: 25 to 30°C upon the season. Open until 10.00 p.m. No lifeguard. Alarm system during the night.

The hotel is located right on the most renowned of Reunion Island’s beaches. Lifeguards are present everyday. Beach accessories (masks, fins, snorkels) can be requested from the Reception desk.

‘Le Cap’ Restaurant:
Completely open, offering a panoramic sight on the beach and the ocean, “Le Cap” proposes a rapid restoration but refined, with a Midday Carte as well as an original formula of menu (the price of the principal dish being the price of the meal). On the evening, it leaves place to a French gastronomical and Creole cuisine which makes it one of the best tables of the island. The Chef, David BEAUVAIS, and his entire team, formed by a collaborator of Alain Ducasse, are at your entire disposal to propose you, throughout the year, varied and refined menus adapted to all kind of event, from the business lunch to the gala dinner.

  • Breakfast: Buffet from 6.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.
  • Lunch: A la Carte from 12.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m.
  • Dinner: A la Carte and gastronomical menus from 7.30 p.m. to 9.45 p.m.

‘La Calypso’ Bar:
Overlooking the swimming pool and the ocean and open from 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m., the bar proposes a selection of tropical cocktails. A snacks menu is also available from 2.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
